Need help with my Marlin 1894

Need help with my Marlin 1894.

It's chambered for 44 Magnum, if that matters. The loading gate screw loosed up in the field and jammed up the action - with six live rounds in the magazine.

Anyway, I got that cleared, but it seems that I slightly bent the screw that holds the lever into the receiver. (Didn't seem like I used that much force while operating the action when it jammed, but evidently, I did.) With some pressure while turning, I got it back in and the rifle functions fine; but it's not correct. Doesn't sit well with me. I need to replace that screw.

I got on Midway and they have a "carrier screw" and it looks right in the picture.

Is this the part I need?

Thanks,
Nick.

I think I'd look here at the schematic and make sure you're ordering the right screw:

Thanks CowTowner.

Looks like I need a "finger lever screw" - part #18 on the exploded drawing. The carrier screw is a different part.

I need this: https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1004996856?pid=599074

Thanks for the info.

(That was a short thread )
