I'll replenish my depleted 7.62X51 and .40 S&W ammo stock. I stopped buying when the prices went way up so I'm below normal levels although I have enough to last me for a long time. As times get harder I'm also planning to increase the amount I keep on hand.

Ammo is getting to be the tough buy around here. .22 and .223/5.56 have been tough from the get-go but till the past week or so 9mm and .45 have been easy to get though on the expensive side. .40 is still all over the shelves.

EBRs and mags otoh are filling up again. My closest LGS has rifles out the ears now, at fairly back to normal prices, and mags of all kind and mfgrs. Magpul, Thermold, Troy, Lancer, etc. Prices on the Magpuls are down to $30 now with no limit, from a high of $50 with a 2 mag limit.

Hopefully sanity is beginning to return.

Hopefully by then some Tavors have hit the market and a few early buyers will have a chance to shake them out.
If those are good to go I'll have one of them.
If not then I will finally add an AUG to my collection.

At least 100 rounds of .40S&W JHP, a 20 round MecGar mag for my Beretta 92fs, and a few more Ruger factory 20 round magazines for my Mini-30.

Oh and a couple more BX-25 Ruger 10/22 mags if they go back down to $30 instead of being $99 if you can even find them right now.

The Tavor is a slick weapon! Made by IWI which manufactures my IWI/Magnum Research Baby Eagle II .40S&W I just purchased. I spent over a week hunting one down.

The same stuff I was planning on buying pre panic

I might pick up another AR or maybe just grab a 30 30 deer rifle. Not very exciting but it seems like despite the focus on "assault" weapons or whatever they want to call them, all guns have inflated in price. I'm just waiting. Don't need anything but eyes are always open for a new addition.
Honestly I'm looking forward to more ammo availability at a cheaper price than any gun picks.

Magnumwill's got the right idea.

'Bout a week ago the chariot took me down Hwy 45, the ancient Roman road via Tupelo and West Point MS into AL.

In the pawn shop on the south end of West Point, I counted five ARs/M4 clones in .223 (listed up to $1,000) and an AK-74 ($800) with folding stock.
They were all there Friday and still stood there in a lonely group on Monday PM with nobody else looking at them. So forlorn for such 'hot' items.
Reminded me of nice dogs and cats at the local Humane Society.

Apparently popular rifles' availability will spread much sooner than many types of ammo.
They had bottles of H 4895 powder at Pre-panic prices, one per customer (per visit, or day?).

Post Panic

Probably just ammo and/or reloading components.
No more guns for me, I have been reducing in that category with a mind reducing to just a couple of calibers.

Firearm prices may come down a bit
but our everyday ammo will not IMHO.
It seems no one can get enuff.
Maybe the next admistration with reduce
our fears of gun control,if we have any guns left,
we can legally use.

A BCG for my new PSA upper. Until then I'll have to be happy with my CMMG conversion kit.

Re: What will you buy After the panic really cools?

Reloading components

22lr ammo (10k rounds)

SBR'ed AR15

6 more 30 round AR mags

4 more 20 round AR mags

Maybe a suppressor pending how long of a break we get between panics.
