Citori 725 Sporting safety switch issue

So, I got this almost new. Less than 100 rounds fired. I have put another 1,000 maybe through it. I shoot trap, skeet and sporting clays and a few live pigeon. As such I NEVER load the weapon until on the line ready to say PULL. So I never use the safety - no need. I have been snake bit in the last few shoots because my safety switch "slips" on. Not sure if there is slack, but my thumb is trained to never touch it. Lost the last match with 2 slips in a 15 bird run. Tighten, completely dis-engage, super glue in position or remove? I use this gun for competition ONLY. Never for walking across the field loaded.
Part 2. Is this something I can do? Or do I need to have a professional do it?
Did I mention that we do a "Columbine" type shoot? With 30 + shooters this adds up into the $30k range

I have six browning o/u,s and two browning double barrel,s and never had any problems with safeties. I say a trip to a good gunsmith will get the problem fixed or a browning repair station.
