Astra 600/43 magazine Compatibility
Will the Astra 600 magazine fit and can be used in an Astra 600/43 magazine? In 9mm Parabellum.

From what I read, the 600/43 is another designation for the 600. Some just call it the 600 model and some are 600/43. Point is, the magazine should fit.

I think the 600/43 was the German contract and 600 was the lot of guns that did not make it to Germany.

It's just so happened that several Astra 600 style pistols have come through the last few local gun shows. Some slides said 600/43, some said only 600 and I think at least one didn't have the model number but had the caliber.
Serials in the early teens up through the mid/upper 40s I believe but I didn't keep track of which serials had what nomenclature. One did have two or three matching numbered magazines which I'd never seen before. Any 600 magazine should theoretically fit any 600 pistol. |
