Torx screw size for Marlin 336?
Does anybody know? Also, what is the easiest way to order just a few screws?

What screws
Which one are yu referring to? If it is the scope base screws, then it is a 6x48. Brownells sells them. They have a kit that comes with all different kinds in the 6x48 and 8x40. Just order a bag of the 6x48. Shouldn't be more than a few dollars and you will always come up with a need for them.

question for you
Did you buy it like that or could someone else have changed the screws out? All the ones I have seen have used the 6x48.

Change for the better
Looks like they might have made an improvement for the better althogh I haven't seen a problem with the 6x48 screws with a lever action rifle. All of the ones that have been through my shop have used the smaller screws.

Guys!
Bristol screws are the best! Hard to find in gun pitches. I used them on the IBM Selectris typewriter anf you NEVER found one with a bad head! Harry B. |
