Colt Anaconda .45
I have a Colt Anaconda 45. The Anaconda was a 45 Colt/ 44 Mag platform- for this reason I am assuming that the hotter 45 colt loads (Ruger/Contender)are safe for this gun. Is that Correct?

I'm no expert... but Corbon's hot 45 Colt loads (similar to Buffalo Bore's) are reportedly ok for the Anaconda... I've heard many folks firing the big hot stuff out of their Anacondas with zero issues.
Given that the gun is a collector's item, I wouldn't risk a steady diet of the 44 Mag killers in your Anaconda... if on the off chance it does screw something up... BTW: I'm looking for an Anaconda in 45 Colt, 4 or 6" barrel. Spread the word! |

45 Colt Snake
It is nearly as strong overall as a Redhawk.
It will handle virtually any published Ruger Only load (but NOT all). Good guns.
