I bought a VZ 24 Mauser the other day from the local gun shop ($69 ) and while cleaning the barrel I checked the twist rate. Every time I checked it, (several times), I came up with 1 in 4.5". That doesn't sound right to me. Anybody?

Mesa, I don't recall ever checking one but I believe they are 1 in 10". George

According to my records, Mauser, 8mm, twist could be either 1X9" or 1X10 ratio. HJN |
