HK45 vs HK USP .45

I own a Beretta 92fs and now i'm in the market for a .45. I've shot my fathers USP .45 and i loved it. Both the USP and the HK45 are pretty similar. I did find the USP's grips to be a little boxy and unergonomic. I still need to handle a HK45 but the grip looks improved. What do you guys think of the dilemma between these two fine firearms?

Well the hk45 does have improved ergonomics, but one small down side is the 10rnd mag where as the usp can use the 12rnd mags.Shoot an hk45 if you can to compare and see what works better for you. Also the USP tactical/elite/expert have the match trigger which is very nice compared to both the standard USP and the HK45. Personally I would go with the tactical/elite/expert simply because of the much improved trigger or you can the match trigger installed into any standard USP, but that runs around $150 plus installation. Check out cdnninvestments.com they are a very reputable company to deal with and their prices are rarely beaten. Prices from their latest catalog, USP 45 $760.82, USP Tactical 45 $1006.19, USP Elite 45 $899.99, and the USP expert 45 also $899.99. HK45 918.56 OR go all out and get the MK23 for $1786.60 check hk's website for more info or check out HKPRO.com

Oh and don't let anyone tell you that you cant run cast lead bullets thru them, it doesn't hurt them at all. Good luck!!

Mk23 for the win. That thing is so awesome.

However, I will relay this video to you since it shows a lot of visuals of both of the guns in comparison with one another. Personally I fell in Love with the USP because it was more basic.

note: I didn't make the video.

Don't buy either. Check out the FNP-45 USG instead.

... if you like it... wait for the FNP .45 Tactical!
