Colt 1911, 1991...

Anybody know any discount venders for mags, bushings, ect ... for 1911s, via internet ? I am new to Colt, and want to upgrade my new 1991. Much Mahalo.

Aloha GMG,

Unless you are going for high end stuff like Wilson 1911 parts are pretty cheap to begin with, so there's not much of a discount.

I would recommend you start by looking at www.brownells.com for parts.

Brownell's has anything you could want. Would suggest tho, that if the gun is new you not change out the bushing untill you've done some serioud shooting with the gun. I find the 1991A1 to be excellent for function as well as accurate. Also, not matter what the catalogs say about "drop in parts" most parts need to be fitted by someone very knowledgable.
