State to state carrying

Anyone know the best book / guide to read concerning traveling state to state. If I have a license to carry in West Virginia, where I"m a few miles east or west of Ohio and Pennsylvania, what's my legal rights concerning traveling. A typical ride on the motorcycle could take me through all 3 states within an hour or two.

Excellent site, but has not been infallible. Prior to engaging in any insterstate activities, Double Check the Laws of said States.

http://www.wvcdl.org/WVCCW.html has information on reciprocity with other states. VA, KY, OH, and PA are good to go but not MD. Also a good idea to check on the details, concealed carry may be permitted but not open, some states you can go in bars etc. others not.

In general, the best place to find reciprocity information is on each state's state police or attorney general website. I have yet to find one that doesn't list the state carry permits and licenses recognized in that state and to what extent the bearer has reciprocity within that state.

http://www.wvstatepolice.com/legal/faq.html

http://www.ohioattorneygeneral.gov/E...ity-Agreements

http://www.attorneygeneral.gov/crime.aspx?id=184

Hope this helps
