Strange pattern?

Had a few minutes before a night match on Saturday, so I decided to test fire my new 870P. I ran some Brenneke KOs through it... nice. And some WallyWorld Federal #7.5 on-special through it... about an 8" circle at 5 yards.

This is interesting

I shot S&B 00 (12 pellet cheap stuff) at 5 yards and it gave a perfect 8" circle.

Then, at 15 yards, it gave the same 8" circle.

I thought that was strange.

I will test more thoroughly this week.
