Works EXACTLY the same as a Remington 870.

The Norinco 98 is a copy of the 870, but isn't the Norinco 99 the hammered SXS "coach gun" type?

Norinco 99 is a coach gun after disassembling the weapon I discovered (WHAT A Pieace Of ****) . It seems safe to shoot but the inside quality is crap. I boughr this one to hang over the fireplace, but if you have a weapon it should be shootable.
