Fobus full slide covered?

I have a fobus one size fits all G26-17 paddle holster. I like this for quick off and ons and ease of positioning it no matter what my belt loops think. my only gripe for this rig is the open bottom style that does not cover the slide all the way. with a G26 its not so much of an issue. but with a G17 the longer slide allows the gun to get popped up and out of its retention if sitting down and the muzzle gets bumped.

ive looked at recent pix of this holster on line and it looks like they have versions that now follows the full length of the slide so the sitting down and muzzle bumping the gun out of its retention is no longer and issue.

anyone have first hand experience with these newer versions?

While not very eloquently stated, the basic statement is sound. In all my decades of teaching, i have never seen any product fail as often as a Fobus holster/mag pouch.

Almost ANYTHING is better gear

I like a Safariland ALS for carrying a Glock outside the waistband. Good positive retention and quick access.
