I liked the 30 with the peace mag base to complete the grip purchase without adding extra size, but for bone stock its the 21.

Between us my FiL and I have a bunch of polymer service pistols. My Tanfoglio/EAA Witnesses are my favorites, but my FiL's full-sized Glock is close. I wish the 45acp Glocks were a little less expensive. I almost got a 40 caliber one for $250 recently, and will probably buy one as soon as I see another nice one for that price. IIRC, the 45's go for something like $100 more than that.

My favorite polymer defense pistols are:

M&P40
P320 40 Full Size
M&P40C

Glocks are ok pistols, but my preferred defense caliber is .40S&W. And Glock forties are comparatively harsh-shooting.

The M&P40, P320 40, PPQ 40, and VP40 are all very soft-shooting and quite enjoyable to shoot, as compared to the G23, G27, and G22.

I’d have to say M&P45 or P320 45 are my favorites in .45auto. HK45 is a great option, as well.

But 10+1, vs. the Glock 21’s 13+1 is hard to ignore.

G21SF is my night stand pistol. They’re excellent pistols.

My Kahr TP45 is a fine example of a polymer 45acp pistol.

Gen 3 G21-SF. I have other polymers I carry occasionally but, when I have to go to town, the G21 with a spare mag makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

While I love my 1911s, my Kahr PM45 has a very smooth trigger, shoots well, and is highly concealable.

my favorite by far is my XDM45 compact. springfield does a lot that a lot of people don't like, however the XDM45 is very hard to beat in terms of accuracy, reliability, and durability.

My Glock 21 with upgraded guide rod and trigger is a fantastic .45acp handgun.

Kahr CM45

Just picked it up Friday it Has a nice trigger some kind of cam system IIRC.
comes with 5 round mag and 1 in the pipe your starting with 6.
there are also 6 and 7 round mags that hang out of the grip a bit farther for each round. I got 2 of the 7 round versions.
my thought was if I ran the 5 dry then I want to reload as many as I can.

P320 45, exceptionally accurate. Becoming more than my favorite polymer pistol in any caliber. On par w my 1911s and possibly surpassing.

I've got a Ruger American 45 and like it a lot. It hits where I'm aiming and fits my hand well. It's my only semi-auto handgun though, let alone polymer, so I don't have a huge amount to compare it to. It shoots a heck of a lot better for me than all the compact/subcompact 9's I was trying out before I went this route.

deleted - had a change of heart would not recommend an XDS in any caliber after my recent dealings with their customer service/warranty department.
