Remington 870 Tactical Lew Horton edition

Anyone have one of these. Saw in at my LGS, nice wood furniture, target sights. Comparing one of these against a Mossberg 500 or 590. Thoughts?

Thanks!

This might get a better answer if you have the mods move it to "The Dave McCracken Memorial Shotgun Forum" section.

What is the retail price on one of these. Can't seem to find it on the internet.

The "Lew Horton edition" part is marketing. So is the "tactical" part.
Lew Horton is a distributor. Their "Edition" is a, phosphated, 18.5", 7 shot, rifle sighted, M870 Express. There's one on Gunbroker(auction ending at 2022 tonight) at $460 with no bids.
Otherwise, an 870 is an 870.

Thanks, T.O.
So, would you go for the Remington or the Mossberg?

I own both the 870 Tactical Express with XS ghost rings, and the 590A1 with XS ghost rings.

With Grabagun running the 590A1 with XS ghost rings for $440 right now, the Remington wouldn't even be a consideration. Mossberg makes a much better gun than an 870 Express.
