A Scope for a Howa

Hello, My name is Ken, and this is my 1st post on the firing line.
I am planning on buying a Howa Thumbhole Sporter in .30-06 because I want something a little different form everyone else, and they are pretty accurate.

I need a scope that has

At least 9x power
MOA turrets
And costs less than $450

I'm leaning towards the Leupold VX-2, because of the CDS system Leupold has going, where you can send them your bullet info, and they send you custom turrets, but I'm open to suggestions.

CDS seems to be a decent system that works. However, I'd rather just have the MOA dial and work the drops on a card and attach it to my stock. That way if I decide to change something the dial still works and I'm not ordering a new one.

If you want MOA turrents at that price range, your choices are very limited.

Vortex offers a similar program with custom dials. Or you can get a bullet drop compensation reticle scope. Most are calibrated for close to 30-06 trajectory. vortexoptics.com The viper is a good starting point, and fits your budget and magnification needs.
