Early scope ID needed

Bought an older riflescope at an estate sale today. "J.C. Higgins Rifleman Senior 4x" is what it says on the tube. It reminds me a LOT of my Lyman Alaskans and Weaver K4-60 scopes, with 1" steel tube, turret blocks with caps, very clear optics, and tough-as-nails construction. I know J.C. Higgins was Sears' brand name for stuff made by other companies. When it comes to their guns, my GPC catalogue gives a cross-reference. No such luck when it comes to scopes. Anybody see one of these or know anything about them? I will try to scan mine in and upload an image here later.
