Replacement Foam Padding For Gun Cases !
I have some really old hard shell aluminum rifle and pistol cases that need the foam replaced. I see that some newer cases on the internet have the
pre-cut pull apart foam inserts which would be dandy for a personal fit for any shape. I have looked on ebay using different combinations of word searches and am not comming up with any viable sources. Certainly some company makes the pre-cut pull apart replacement foam pads somewhere on the planet! Any sources someone might know? Thanks... |

Try Google and search for "cubed foam" I think you will find some options.

The foam you are talking about is also called "pick-n-pluck" - which, with a lot of use tends to "pluck" itself and change the shape of the cutout. I prefer the closed cell poly. foam - which you cut yourself and is also grease/oil resistant.
Just my $0.02 - having used both types for firearms and photography equipment. |
