Scope for my Windham Weaponry SRC
To start I want to say I love my new Windham Weaponry SRC and I am looking to mount a scope on it and after some consideration I think I want a low power variable scope 1-4x. I have looked at fixed 3x or 4x scopes but I think the 1-4x would be more versatile, 1x for close and quick and higher magnification for 100-200 yard target practice and varmints. Any recommendations in the $200+/- price range on a good scope that is clear, bright and holds zero?

There are several 1-4X24 AR scopes on the market. Nikon has the M223 and the lower cost P223 scopes. Burris has a nice one. Vortex has two, the PST around $500 and the Razor HD, around1.4K.
How much do you want to spend? I wanted a Razor but could afford a M223. After two years with the M223 I wish I had saved for the Vortex PST, worth the extra money IMHO. |
