Mossberg 500 ammo capacity?
How many shells does the 500 carry in the standard tube.If it's less than six ,are there any extension tubes for higher capacity?

No, the field model has a 5 shot capacity in the magazine. He's talking about how many the magazine holds.....then it, of course, it holds one in the chamber. If you use 3" shells, then it holds 4. Most people don't.

I saw somewhere a tube extension that comes with a different barrel. Can't rember where I saw it or how much it was or how many extra it gives you. But you gotta change the tube and the barrel. My guess is $150 - $200
