I don't have a favorite one. I carry mt S&W 638 and Ruger LCR most often. As for pistols I use the Glock's most Beretta's second, if I had to pick one pistol probably my Glock 17.

I've been doing this for 40 yrs or so ....and hands down its a Wilson combat 1911 5".../ my primary carry is a Wilson CQB model 5" in .45 acp ...and my primary practice/range gun is a wilson Protector model 5" in 9mm...
My other long term favorites are N frame S&W revolvers ...model 27 in .357mag ( I like the model 29's as well in .44 mag / and the K and L frames in .357 mag as well ...) but nothing quite like a model 27. My current favorite model 27-2 4" Nickel...is a really nice gun. |

Definitely my all-steel Baby Eagle/Jericho. That thing soaks up recoil and feels like shooting a 22. Every single time I step away from the lane I am smiling!

Springfield Armory TRP 1911-A1. It is hand fitted from a National Match frame and slide from the factory. I may be a junior member, but I've been shooting for 20 years.

1911 or BHP. 30+ years with both and it's still a toss-up.

The handgun that gets shot the most for me is my S&W 2206. Everyone who has shot it loves it. The company supposedly lost money on each one sold.

1911
My favorite is still the 1911 platform, Gov't Model, Commander, and Officers size. I like them all; Commander is my favorite though.

Thought about this for awhile and I really have to say the Sig P226 Equinox
9mm. Excellent gun! And looks sexier than any other gun I've ever seen. Even my HK45. Why I do not own one yet is the question. If we were just talking SA Pistols it would be the Colt Peacemaker for sure. |

CZ-75BD and Smith and Wesson Model 19-3
I have looked at this thread a few times, and have debated which pistol would be my favorite. As i thought about it, I thought about the guns that I may not always carry, but enjoy just holding them, getting familiar with them. Those would be my CZ-75BD and my Smith and Wesson Model 19. There is just something about those two that just feel right, and even though I have other guns that I may carry more often for different reasons, those are my top two.

The 1911 has always been #1 on my list, but it's opposite that I find equally appealing is the Beretta 92.
My favorite of each that I own is the Valor..... ...and Elite |

I like a good 1911. The S&W versions have impressed me with their quality. My Sig 226 is another favorite as well as several N frames in 44 and 357 mag. These are all my favorites and if forced to pick one it would be the adjustable sighted S&W 1911.
But if things go bad, one of the Glocks is what I'm reaching for. I don't like em as well, but I trust them more. |
