Love my new 870
Just wanted to post a pic of my new 870. I got it for Christmas. It it is set up for home defense right now. But it will convert to turkey mode when Spring comes.

Good Looking 870, Looks like it is missing one thing, some friction marks on the action bars
A suggestion, it looks like you have slugs/buck on your side saddle, a wise shooter taught us to segregate the two loads by placing the brass in different directions. At night it is hard to see color.

Scattergun Bob - your insight is impressive! Yes, it is unfired. Haven't had a chance to take it out yet. And yes, 00 Buck with slugs beside. I thought about inverting the buck. Just haven't done it yet. Again, my hat is off to you.

Hope you get the chance to workout that scattergun soon! The good news is they just get better.
Scattergun Bob says, "they come out of the factory box simple, near perfect and ready to GO, you just have to learn how to press that GO BUTTON.
