Zastava M70 stock options
After a semi-successful wood stock repair I started thinking about just getting synthetic stock for my m70.
1. Zhukov stock is an option but I would want that's at least somewhat 'classic' looking 2. Getting a replacement wood stock. I can only find used wood buttstocks at a prices that are higher than the high quality zhukov above 3. Synthetic M70 stock replacement like this rifle has https://www.sportsmansoutdoorsuperst....cfm/ID/134564 but can't find this stock anywhere at all any opinions on where i can find quality 2 or 3 options? |

I'm thinking about an Ace on my pap. Not classic wood, I know, but I kinda like the look and most reviews I've read say they're well made, shoot good and have other practical benefits as well (fixed or folder, lightweight, etc.)
Here's another option if you have access to such... I scrounged an old Enfield P-14 stock, if you cut it off in the right place, at the right angle, you can fit it up pretty easy since the Paps use a simple through bolt attachment. It has enough "fat" that you can rasp it and sand it to a shape somewhat close to an AK shape. The other nice thing is, with some though and care you can make it custom fit yourself with the right amount of drop and cast, etc. |
