Wind meter
I want to get a wind meter but I have no idea whats a quality brand or whats just crap. It doesnt have to be fancy I just want to know the wind speed and temperature (although not necesary). What do you guys suggest?

Personally do not use one but my buddy has a Caldwell. Go here and check on some of these ...

More expensive, but very good are the Kestrel line starting at around US$70 and going up to about US$400.

Kestrel without a doubt. While a bit expensive, its still the most bang for your buck. They are built to Military durability standards and issued to everyone from snipers to weather observers, and I have yet to have one fail me (dead batteries dont count).

I fly a lot of radio control slope soaring, and the Kestrel is pretty much the hot setup for that hobby.
