Huge amount of WW2 relics recovered - WW2 Treasure Hunters TV show
Hi all
Thought I'd share the relics recovered during the filming of episode 3, season 2, WW2 Treasure Hunters. We were searching an old ordnance depot in Weedon, UK, and recovered a huge quantity of WW2 relics. There are a LOT of pictures, too many for the forum, but I have posted a group shot below and a link to the blog where you can view all the finds. Wow! That's wild!
Some of those Bren parts look like they'd be fine with a rinse! Was there anything the bomb squad had to take care of? |

Thanks Tidewater_kid
kozak6 - Not EOD no, but we did have to have some parts taken away by a section 5 holder. |

Are any of those parts going to be treated with a product like Evapo-Rust that's
safe and dissolves rust down to the bare metal? That would definitely help to not only make the parts look more interesting to look at but also to help preserve them. Evapo-Rust is an amazing product that seems to be made for this kind of project. |
