No, it seems pretty consistent with their previous positions.
It was nice to see that not restricting ammunition sales was specifically mentioned since I fear that may be on the table in the future. One strategy to discourage gun ownership is to make obtaining ammunition more difficult either through regulatory restrictions and/or increased taxes.

While not a new stance...
It is the first time we are seeing them write and put forward as a party what many of the individual members have been saying for a while.
