colt 1849 pocket

Dose anyone here have any video off shooting a colt 1849 pocket revolver or a

replika ?


Been looking like crazy on the net and theres nothing so is there

anyone here have any video footage ? or can some one make a video ??

i was overbid on the whitney navy before so i am still looking

and i have seen a lot of colt model 1849 pocket at "okey" prices but i would

like too see one in "Action" there is no video too be found can anyone here help me ?

I don't have a video and have never seen one of that gun but I do own one (ASM repro) and I can tell you they're alot of fun. I use O shot in mine, and maybe 10 grs of black powder. They kick like a wild BB gun so watch out. I had one with a short barrel and loading it was a pain in the arse, but the one I have now is longer and loading is much like the 1851 .36. They're pretty accurate unless you're trying to squeeze a hundred yards out of them.
From what I've read, they were the most produced cap and ball Colts - something like 329,000 of them were made.
I'd like an original, too. I'm watching one now that dropped from $2400 to $1200.
