Not 100% sure but likely manufactured by GE for the mini gun and has been de-linked for resale.

By the way, how much and what quantity?

Hi Rey,

Use to be a German firm by the name of Geco. Their ammo was quite good.

By the way, whatever happened to your MP5K with its dissolving buffer. Where you able to get a replacement?

Thanks Gary,
Thanks for the info..I also came across some
.223 Ammo marked like the one I mentioned.
Is it also the same as (GD,GF,etc...)it has green 'primer sealant'..
Regarding my mp5k, My relatives in the US is still trying to contact HK through law enforcement units, but i think youre right about HK not caring to "small time individuals" and only to the big time clients..,but were still trying..
we tried to fabricate hard rubber as a temporary replacement...do you think it is safe?
Thanks a lot....

Rey,

It'll work in a pinch, but sustained firing may cause permanent damage to your endcap.

You may want to contact Buffer Technology (P.O. Box 104903, Jefferson City, MO, 65110 USA, http://www.buffertech.com) and see if they can help you. They make a buffer for the HK91 and it should fit into your MP5 (the shape of the receiver on all those guns are the same). Drop them an email and see if they can help. Good luck.

Because it is foreseeable that a firearm may be used with ammunition which is either SAAMI or Milspec, most American gun makers design them to accept either (or otherwise risk chance of the firearms destruction, injury to the shooter or bystanders, and lengthy litigation). About the only thing most guns aren't designed to handle is hotter SMG ammo. Provided that Geco meets SAAMI or Milspec, I don't think there'll be any trouble. If you fire one round, inspect the cartridge case for bulging or the primer for flattening. If you see neither, you should have no problem. Good luck Rey.
