Bren Ten vs. CZ 75B....

Does anyone know if the Bren Ten's internals are similar to that of a CZ 75B? Is the Bren Ten essentially just a 10mm copy of the CZ?

To my knowledge, there’s no interchangeable parts. The Bren is based on the CZ, but far from a copy.

My brother has a Bren as far as I recall from talking to him about it. There is no other gun that has parts that interchange with it. Magazines for it were difficult to find as well. When you do find them expect to pay well over $100 for one. This was a few years ago. There may be better support for them by now.

"...support for them by now..." Not likely as the Bren 10, created/inspired by Cooper(who said it wasn't a sound concept), was discontinued in 1986. Manufacturer went bankrupt.

This is kind of interesting. Massad never does answer his own question though. The answer is that the 10mm didn't do anything the .45 ACP would not.

Shot a Colt Sale Rep provided(great guys) Delta Elite years ago at a pin shoot using the only available ammo from Norma(big money for a new cartridge). Even the Rep said it didn't compare to the assorted "race" guns most of us were shooting. The thing shot like a 1911A1 using hot ammo. No big deal.

Vltor promised a Bren copy in 2010, which never materialized.
There's another replica about to go into production as the Combat Service Pistol, which is what the Bren's .45 ACP predecessor was called.
