Can I sell a high cap mag to someone in California?

Im listing some Norinco 84s mags on gunbroker, and I wanted to know If I can sell to someone in California or another restrictive state. Im not sure how to tell if they are preban or not, but i think they are because Norinco hasnt sent stuff to the US for quite a while.

Thanks for the help,
Devin

Not certain, but I believe the same applies to New Jersey, and possibly New York (state).

No.

In regards to CA specifically, it doesnt matter if they are pre ban or not.

If a person owned them in CA before the ban they were allowed to keep them.

Importing them, whether pre-ban or not, is illegal in CA.

However, "parts kits" are allowed to be imported into CA. If you disassembled them, you could sell them into CA as "parts kits". Perfectly legal and allowed.

What they buyer does with the parts kits is their issue.

Essentially, they are allowed to rebuild their existing mags... every single piece can be replaced. But they cant end up with more mags than what they started with.

Makes sense.

Thanks again.

I saw that desperate appeal on gunbroker not to cut out california for sales, so I felt compelled to ask.
