Brownell Savage Barrel Kits?

Anyone use any of the Brownell pre-fit Savage Barrel Kits?

I have a Savage 110 Long Action that I'd like to convert back into 30-06. The Brownell kit seems pretty reasonable. I inquired about the barrel maker and they replied that they are ER Shaw barrels. Seems like ER Shaw gets some mixed reviews online. Opinions?

They're an OK barrel, used to use them pretty regularly before they hiked their prices by 50% a few years back.

you can get all the stuff individually cheaper if you can find a cheap take off barrel.

try switchbarrel.com, or any of the auction sites for cheap non used barrels.

i built a savage switch barrel in 7mm mag and .30-06, got the '06 barrel for $50 shipped, and it was never used.

paid just over $100 for all necessities.
