Yugo pap akm

Considering a yugoslovian PAP ak rifle. 7.62x39. price is $989. is it worth the money?? Need some opinions

I've worked with both the PAP & the N-PAP.
The guns are built for use with optics & the stock angle is higher to mate with a high scope.
That means you have to scrunch down to get to the irons if you don't mount glass, and in my case it rested my cheekBONE right on top of the stock. Even with the low recoil of the round, it was mildly painful on each shot & left a visible bruise the next day.

Others have found it uncomfortable.
Quality on both was OK, just not much fun to shoot with irons & I wouldn't buy one unless I planned to scope it.
Does work great with glass.

They were selling for $600 a few months ago. For almost $1000, I'd be looking at something from Arsenal.
