CO State HS Trap Championship

Missed the repeat as Team State Champions at the Colorado State HS Trap Championship today. But my top athlete won HOA and the Title of State Champion. Next month, we'll take a run at Nationals and then he is off to College on a Shooting Scholarship.

Hey Mark congratulations!

I didn't know shooting scholarships existed in today's world, it is great to hear the accomplishments of your pupils.

Keep up the good work.

College Scholarships for shooting are actually on the rise. My oldest was offered one for shooting, but took the baseball one instead.

Wise, more money if he made it in baseball.

Double congrats then! : )

Guns

Congratulations on your successful coaching.
Technical question: what gun does he shoot?

My top shooter shoots a SKB. In my top squad, we also had 2 Brownings, and 2 Berettas.

My 2nd best shooter (my son who is gone at Basic Training) shoots a Stoeger and my 4th best shooter (gone at the State HS Baseball Championship) shoots a Weatherby. So we would have had quite the mix if those two had been able to compete.
