Ruger 22/45
I just picked up a 22/45 threaded barrel and shot it this weekend. It was shooting left and high at 7-10 yds. I drifted the sight to correct the windage but the sight isnt elevation adjustable. Is it normal for it to shoot high at this range. Also me best offhand group was about 4 inches, what kind of groups should I expect to get with a lot of practice (new handgun shooter)? So far it likes Winchester Wildcats best, but I haven't gotten federal or cci yet. What does yours like best?

I would shoot off a rest to minimize shooter errors. Shoot several different loads off the rest for groups and zero.
I have a Mark II 22/45 and it eats Federal Auto Match like candy. Haven't tried too many others through it as I've been very pleased with that ammo in all of my guns. |
