Gun appreciation Day Rockland County, NY

WE ARE NOT THE PROBLEM
This is to inform everyone that we WILL be having a rally on Saturday Jan. 19 2013. We have decided to stage the rally in front of The Rockland County Legislative building, 11 New Hempstead Rd, New City at 1PM.
It is imperative that this be a show of strength and unity. We need as many people as we can to demonstrate to our elected officials that "WE ARE NOT THE PROBLEM"
There is no saying what Albany has pre decided for us and may shove down our throats this week, but whatever the case is we have to be heard!!
It is very important that whoever shows up understands that this is to be a civil demonstration. It would be great if everyone shows up neatly and/or professionally dressed(no camo!). We decided on the slogan "WE ARE NOT THE PROBLEM". Feel free to bring your own signs, posters, etc. We ask that whatever signage is used please do not give our media "friends" any negative ammo(pun intended). NO "From my cold dead hands" signage. Feel free to address the Mental Health issue in your signage.
Get the word out ASAP this will only be effective if there is unity and a show of strength. Contact any and all clubs, individuals, veteran organizations, stores, businesses. Any one who feels that our rights are being eroded. Have them spread the word. I do not have any official flyers/posters made up so make your own if you can to help spread the word about this event
I know that the politicians are not in office on Saturday but this is the nationwide date set for these rallies. The setting was decided upon for its symbolism. It is the Rockland County seat of office. No permits are needed as we are exercising our FIRST AMENDMENT rights.

First they came for the communists
and I did not help because I was not a communist
Next they came for the socialists
and I did not help because I was not a socialist
Next they came for the Jews
and I did not help because I was not a Jew
Then they came for me
and there was no one left to help
Feel free to substitute the end of the sentences for guns, "assault weapons"(whatever that is), ammo, handguns,etc. Ultimately the last line is "our freedoms and rights"
