BHP extractor adjustment
I just replaced the extractor and spring on my BHP, now it extracts every time, but it still leaves the last empty shell in the port. It extracts fine but without a round in the mag to support it, the empty case falls out from the extractor before it gets to the ejector. There does not seem to be any extractor tension on the cartridge rim.
So, my question is, do I remove some material from the bump on the inside of the extractor until I get extractor tension on a case similar to a 1911? Thanks, John |

That is what I would do.

Thanks Jim, I wasn't sure if I would create another problem by doing that.
