Help with a RCBS 505
I'm a beginning reloader. I just bought a used RCBS 505 scale on Ebay. Before I start calling it names, maybe I need some help ( no instructions came with it). The only way that I can get the scale to hit level before I put any thing in it, is put everything on 0 except the little piece of metal alway to the right, it has to be on 1. Is this right or wrong, I'm thinking everything should be on 0.

Is the powder tray also on the scale? I have the 510, you have all the pieces on the scale and set it to zero - depending on your scale placement, you might have to adjust the height on the balance end up or down a little

Yes everything should be zeroed, next you have a dial adjustment (used on opposite side) on the bottom and this sets on the table. when everything is zeroed, turn dial adjustment until it's perfectly leveled. A GREAT SCALE!!!!!

Help with a RCBS 505
I agree, everything should be zero. If not adjust until it is zero.
Good luck.

Had it working fine in about 30 seconds. You were right about the adjusting screw on the bottom and I found the instructions. Thanks to all of you.
The first part of information, is the question. Thanks again |
