Skeeter1 - Great find! I think the author does a great job capturing the true essence of hunting and elaborates its current state.

That was a poignant article, and I think we can all relate to it.

I'm a fairly old phart now, but if one of the young'ns (family or friends) wanted help learning how to hunt responsibly, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I might have to carry my shotgun in one hand and my shillelagh in the other, but I would do it. The days of carrying a bagful of full-body decoys out to a duck blind are probably over, but I'm still up to small-game hunting.
