Lar-8 stock

I just picked up an Rra lar-8 308. I already have a rra lar-15 operator 2 5.56 with the 6 position car stock. My question is, can I swap out the stocks b/t the two guns?

My review of the rra website leads me to believe the 556 car stock is a different part number than the 762 car stock.

depends if the stock is Mil Spec or Commercial. The buffer tube sizes are different. I put a Mil Spec buffer tube on my RRA. Replaced the commercial buffer which is cheaper to produce.

With the .308/7.62 AR's you also have to consider the length of the RE and buffer. These rifles have a bolt carrier that is 1/2" longer and either the RE needs to be 1/2" longer or the buffer 1/2" shorter.

Contact Slash, he can fix you up for any RE. You can use any RE as long as you use the correct length buffer. You need enough room for the bolt carrier and buffer. Buffer to long it well not pick up the next round, too short and the bolt carrier well hit the lower and possible destroy it.
