Hi,
I am looking for a beginner to intermediate training in or around Northern California. Preferably for 1 day. I know of 2 options, The halo group and NRA certified instructor's basic pistol course. How are these? Also, any others I am missing? AWT has a minimum 3 days course if I am right, though I did consider it. Thanks for the help |

Yolo Sportsmen's Association has courses available for beginners and some upgrade courses. I took a 4 hour course that had some in class instruction and outdoor close shooting drills. My understanding is the instructors teach at several locations. MWT

RTO: AWT/Walt Marshall has a Intro to Cmbt. pistol 2 day class Dec. 2nd and 3rd at the Richmond, CA range. I've taken two of his classes and would recommend him highly. Chabot Gun club in Castro Valley, CA, has two different (I think) one day classes for the handgun. EricO
