Hornady dies and a RCBS RC press???????

Hello, I just bought a set of Hornady new dimension .308win dies and I have a RCBS rockchucker press and when I put the die(s) in the press they move around a bit. I noticed in the accessories it lists L-N-L press conversion bushings, so my question is; do I need one of these or is this normal with hornady dies?

Thanks

L-N-L bushings are only needed for insertion in the L-N-L presses. It is a quick-change system that the standard die thread screws into. The dies should have standard ⅞×14 threads, AFAIK.

Put your calipers on the O.D. of the Hornady die threads and also on any other dies you might have for comparison? Please post the result. You've got my curiosity up.

I use my Hornady dies in my RCBS press ... but then it's been (and all of my dies) converted to using the L-N-L system.
