Delete feature not working?

I am having a problem with the delete feature. Whenever I want to delete a double post of mine, etc. The delete feature says, I am not authorized to do this? I press the edit button, check the delete box, then I get a message saying I am not authorized to perform this function.

It's working just fine.
Only Staff can delete posts.....the alternative is a Troll/Spammer's Paradise.

70-101,

Whenever I accidentally make a double post, I 'edit' one of them down to just a carriage return, or a "." That way my goof doesn't clutter up everyone else's screen.

More than one way to skin that cat!
