cases under size ?
I measured a few 45 acp cases and found a few to be less than the trim to length, can they still be used ? They are about 3 thousands under trim to length.

That is ok.
I have seldom seen a .45 case as long as spec and only about three ever that were longer. Those I just discarded, it isn't worth the trouble to trim straight case pistol brass. |

Nearly all once fired 45 ACP cases are a bit short, nothing to worry about. William

Did you measure before or after running them through the resizing die?

Heck most of the time new cases are short. No sweat. Why they manufacture them shorter than spec is something I have never understood but that's the way it is.

I measured mine after the second firing before I sized them.
