This is driving me nuts. My computer died and I did a complete re-install. Now I don't have the bull's eyes, dark folders, or any of that neat stuff. I'm running IE 5.5, I have cookies on and I'm not deleting temp. files. What is wrong? I know as soon as I post this the answer will come to me but I'm asking anyway.

You gotta toss your cookies, JCH!

Click on "Preferences" at the top, right-hand corner of this page. Click on the line that will delete all your cookies. You may also want to manually delete all your cookies.

Shut down IE 5.5. Start it back up and enter TFL through the front door: http://www.thefiringline.com

If that doesn't do it, post here again and we'll find someone who knows what they're talking about to help you.

Thanks, I had to do that three times to get it to work. I don't know why it worked the third time but it did. I probably would have gotten it on my own except I didn't know that I had to go through the front door.

Crap! Its doing it again! Well it worked for a hour.

Check your Internet preferences to see when IE is up dating. It should be checked for every visit to a page.

IE dating? It ain't old enough yet. I'll put a stop to that.

Anyway, I've already done that. Any other ideas? I can't figure out whats wrong. I got 1911Forum up fine and as far as I can tell it is the same type of message board.
