Polish ?
What is a good polish to clean up a 5906 finish? Just seems a little miscolored in spots. terry

Give it a really good bath with regular solvent first, then use any SS cleaner. If you use any kind of power tool or metal polish, you'll end up with another spot.

I clean mine with solvent and any finish issues with a fine or extra fine Scotch Brite pad.

Seeing as how you asked about a "POLISH"...
If you are talking about a high gloss, mirror like finish, I like Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish. It's available at most auto part stores. |

Master Formula ......comes in two bottles..metal polish and sealer .....mix it 50/50.....works great on paint jobs too, just use the sealer only......best polish I have ever found .....The shine Lasts a long time before you need to polish again , at one time or another I think I have tried them all , Mothers , Blue Magic , etc, etc. The shine never seemed to last long with the others........
Use it on my custom bikes........I hope this can be useful to you and the other readers on this forum. |
