Scorpion 922R Compliance
Was hoping someone can help me out here. I'm finally gonna take the SBR leap and decided to use a CZ Scorpion Evo 3 S1 in FDE as my base. I love the looks and it's a very modular firearm.
But I'm not sure I understand the particulars of converting it to an SBR. CZ sells regular carbine stocks on their website for sale in the "United States Only" and it seems that the 922r kit they put out a few years ago has been discontinued. Does this mean I don't need that anymore? Help...

I think the 922R gremlin gas been put to bed. Unless you're planning on selling Scorpions that you're building for commercial gain (as a dealer) from imported parts kits, you do not need to worry about 922R as the consumer.

This should answer most of your questions. Being 922r compliant is important if you plan on staying out of jail.
