Fred Williams London & Birmingham 12G.
I am trying to find a approx value on a Fred Williams 12g side by side, hammerless shotgun. The barrels are bored an approx build is in 1890. The barrels are nitro proof 1 and 1/8. The proof marks are British. left barrel is choke.Number stamped on underside of RHS barrel is 121310. This piece is genuine and in very good order all over.

Pictures would be helpfull. Fred Williams made shotguns untill I believe, 1929, however his shop was still bonded untill 1950, perhaps he had someone to carry on for him in his name. I found old doubles for 600 and newer, hammerless ( greener crossbolt ) for 28 to 32 hundred. Condition is every thing and only clear pictures can show that. If your gun is hammerless and nitro proofed then I would say it was later than 1890 .
