Deaf, the stainless variant of the M15 is the M67, but I have no idea if they ever made a 2".

Here's my favorite--a 2" Model 10-7 that shoots as well as some of my 4"ers.

Thanks for the comment on the 547. It's a definite conversation piece. I got it at a pretty good price from a LGS a couple of years ago. I like the three inch barrel. Short enough to conceal well but the the extra sight radius comes in handy.
The nickel Model 15 is in the barbecue gun class for me. It doesn't see a holster much but its fun to shoot. |

I have 2 S&W K frame snubbies. The first I got when I was a Private Investigator, a 2 1/2" S&W 66-2. The second, a 3" S&W 65-3, was needed when my wife took the 66-2 for her all around gun. Both have served me and my family very well.

Tom....Stop resisting. Search and aquire. Further resistance is futile. They're out there. The best thing about the 2" 15 is its amazing accuracy...you won't be disappointed. Zeb

Sorry no picture
my Model 36 (no dash) has it's hammer bobbed by a former owner but that's what attracted me to it! I wanted a serious D/A only combat revolver and am learning to use it.
Coming from using small semi-autos for self defense, the changeover to a revolver is like entering a new world! The limiter (5 shot) capacity of the Chiefs Special requires a different ganeplan toward use. the one or two shots more in a semi-auto's clip makes you almost accept a miss or poor hit because you know there are 5 or 6 shots left. A poor attitude but true. The 5 shots in the Chief make you count on a "Good" first hit with the reserve of four shots, you now must concentrate on ALL "good" hits! Reloads are slower with a revolver no matter if you use a Speed Loader or Speed Strips, it still takes much more time to accomplish than a quicker Magazine change. The generally more powerfull .38 Special offers a wider selection of nullet types and loads with varied power levels whereas a semi-auto needs more preciselly balanced power levels to function. reliably, With a revolver you can load ball, SWC and Hollowpoint loads interchangeably. giving the shooter abroad scenerio of range andpenetration availlable. Like I said it's a whole new world to learn! Functional reliability being far better with the revolver. ZVP |

K-frame insuperiority
The "superior" K snub that, I wish they only could make work.
The original model 12 with aluminum cylinder. This beauty is light. Think of a 6 shot model 10 K-frame weighing less than a model 37. The only thing is, everyone tells me I'm taking my life into my hands if I shoot it. (Although, This one has been shot, for sure.) Apologies for the poor picture. |

The Model 12?
Isn't that what the Aircrew was numbered when Smith and Wesson went with the numbers? I thought all of those were ground up? Either way, that's awesome. Never seen one of those before.
