Duckfoot Pistol .

Hello all,
I'm a newbie on the forums here .Hope to learn a lot about guns I have collected. Seems like a very helpful group of members here !
I am hoping to find out who the manufactured my .32 Caliber
Duckfoot Pistol.
Look forward to hearing some feedback.

I think Dixie sold one for a while, maybe they still do.

DGW still sells kits from Classic Arms. I don't think the complete guns have been available for years. Course I've been wrong before.

Thanks to all who replied to my original post!
I have found out quite a bit more on the History of this pistol
in the past month.
Sent it in to a antique weapons appraisal service.
Turns out that it is a .36 caliber ,and the serial number and
Model number I.D. this weapon as a "genuine" antique.
The appraisal Service did a good amount of research
on this 3 barrel ,single percussion cap ignition.
The Current value was between $2,800 to $3200.00

I was pretty surprised with their findings!!

That's nice. You don't see many original Duckfoot pistols with a serial number (and a traceable one at that.

I'm fairly new at collecting,but really enjoy the
old black powder weapons!
my question is---should I keep this Duckfoot as an investment?
Or sell now and buy 3 or 4 other unusual pistols?

In my OHO, a 3200 dollar duckfoot pistol with a serial number and a model number, sell that sucker to a sucker and run.

So this "original" duck foot has a model number(extremely unlikely)and a serial number(doubtful)but no makers name and your appraisal service can put a value on it but can't identify the maker? Tell it to somebody else.

Can you tell us what appraisal service you used, and how much they charged? They might be willing to buy it, of course for less than the appraised value.
