Turning Frankengun into 2 masterpieces
Found a 6" Caspian .40 on an old STI 2011 Edge full-length dust cover frame that had a fairly high round count and was well worn but functional.
And, as I had a Caspian recon lower and a Clark 10mm BBL, I sent the parts and the pistol to Hayes Custom Guns and they created not 1 but two absolute masterpieces that are as accurate and functional as they are beautiful. |

I only see one photo, of one pistol. It appears to match the "before" description of your STI/Caspian 6-inch.
Beyond that, your parts list seems to be one slide shy of two pistols. Could you give us more information, and post some "after" photos? I'm always interested in 1911 photos ... |

Bummer, I had problems trying to upload the other pics. I'll try to do it again from my laptop tomorrow. Sorry.
